Manufacturers may utilize fancy packaging, various marketing tactics, and lofty promises to justify the insane price tags of those products. The kicker is that none of that actually guarantees that the product is actually tens (or even hundreds) of times better than a product that's a fraction of the price. This CeraVe moisturizer is not only a much better value than many competing moisturizers, but it punches well above its weight in terms of performance and product design.Besides the price, one of the best things about this is the moisturizer itself. It doesn't contain fragrance (which can irritate some people's skin). It is lightweight and gentle. Even though it is marketed as being for dry skin, I think this would work for any skin type. Because you can always apply a very thin layer if you tend to have oilier skin, and you can alway add an additional layer if your skin really needs it.Speaking of layers, the product layers really well with other skincare products. I apply it after my vitamin c serum and before my sunscreen during the day, and I apply it after my Differin gel at night. It compliments the other products in my routine very well.I also like that it comes in a pump. So many (much more expensive) moisturizers come in a jar, which I don't find to be particularly hygienic. Every time that jar is opened, it gets exposed to air and moisture. This can create a ripe breeding ground for bacterial growth. The bottle and pump style of the CeraVe moisturizer keeps these elements out of the product, ensuring that it stays hygienic for the duration of its use. I also find that the pump gives me greater control over how much product I dispense at any given time.Overall, this is an excellent moisturizer. It has remained a staple of so many people's skincare regimens for decades, and its great performance, hygienic design, and excellent performance ensure that it will continue to do so for decades to come.

Clean and simple lotion that works very well, simple non offensive smell, good value for the cost because a little goes a long way and my skin loves it! No sticky feeling after it absorbs and my skin glows afterwards.

I've been using Neutrogena Hydro Boost lotion with hyaluronic acid multiple times a day for years and I thought it was the only lotion I'll ever want to use. Until I tried this Cerave lotion with hyaluronic acid. It might even work better than Hydro Boost.Con:Only 1 con. I'm deducting a star because, despite it being fragrance-free, there is a faint scent to the Cerave. One that I find unpleasant. Where Hydro Boost has no scent at all.Pros: Works really well. Absorbs quickly. Feels light, and not greasy.I used to have horrible excema on my hands. Until I started using lotion with hyaluronic acid in it. I apply it after I wash my hands. Every time. Doing this has kept the excema away for years now. I don't need to use topical creams or steroids anymore. Just hyaluronic acid. The ceramides in Cerave will probably be beneficial as well. Seems to be so far. My hands are happy.
