Perfect for making waterproof menstrual products

I’m a bit disappointed with this fabric, though I’ll admit ordering fabric online is always tricky for obvious reasons—and that’s exactly what caused my frustration here.The listing described it as “waterproof” or “water-resistant,” and that should’ve been my first clue that it wouldn’t work for my project. I’m creating a cosplay based on a character from a relatively obscure anime. She wears a white and blue dress, and since I’m on the heavier side, buying fabric in-store can get expensive. I was really hoping this would be a good alternative.Unfortunately, as soon as I opened the package, I noticed the issue: the fabric has a plastic-like coating that gives it that water-resistant quality. While that finish makes sense for things like tablecloths or outdoor use, it makes the material completely unsuitable for clothing—it looks more like something from an astronaut costume than a dress.On the positive side, the fabric itself is thick, stretches a bit, and feels durable. However, it frays quickly if cut, so you’ll definitely need to hem it right away after cutting. If properly hemmed, it should hold up well.Overall, a nice quality fabric—just not for cosplay or apparel. It would be much better suited for crafts, table covers, or upholstery

This fabric is wonderful for water proofing dog beds.

I've never worked with fabric like this before, and it has me seriously intrigued. I received a cut that measures 6 yards long by 64.25 inches wide PUL waterproof fabric which is white in color. This fabric feels like a soft foam on the waterproof side and like a thin, soft fleece on the other side. It has 4 way stretch that's significant, and it sews beautifully on my machine. I'm very impressed with the excellent quality of this fabric! I can see it being used for clothing, shoe shields, tablecloths, and a whole host of other projects which require waterproof fabric. As a summer raincoat, it'll be lightweight and cool, yet be comfortable to wear while keeping me dry. At about $8.60 per yard, I'd say this is a good bargain. I'm looking forward to experimenting with this fabric and creating a new product line.
