Is the 10 Eyelet boot just not enough? Try our 14 Eyelet model on for size. Triple stitched toes and vamp, steel toes and lugs, and quality all around. As with all Gripfast products, 100% hand made in England. Review: High quality solid BOOTS :) - One word says it all: KICKASS :) Perfect and very well made boots, super high quality, smooth, sturdy leather, excellent profile soles. Recommended? Hell YEAH :) Gripfast boots RULE, no more Docs for me. Review: Boots were comfortable for one day - Boots were comfortable for one day. Walked three miles second day to break the boots in. The boot backstraps (above heel cup on back of boot) broke in, but cut into my achilles tendon. Boot socks and inserts did not help. I stubbornly wore them four more days until my achilles tendons bled from abrasion. Tried every conceivable combination of socks, inserts, lacing. Those with broad feet or especially wide heels may not have this problem. Those with regular feet may have similar problems. Regret not buying from company that allows returns on boots that do not work out.

PERFECT, QUALITY & AWSOME!
OMG! Came earlier than expected and delivered right to my mailbox! I've always preferred GRIPFAST to doc martens because GRIPFAST is a quality boot and have always lasted me years...& I will continue to wear them until I can't anymore-IM VERY SATISFIED AND HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE

Gripfast boots
Rugged, durable, slightly counterculture boots with attitude. Just love them! The leather's surprisingly thinner than expected, making a heavy-looking boot not very heavy at all. My Doc Martens were quite a bit heavier, as I recall. Don't equate thin with cheaply made; these boots are quality made items that should last a long time. I enjoy wearing, and stomping in, mine immensely!

Good buy
Would be 5 stars if they had a better insole. However, these boots fit comfortably i love the fact there is no zipper. Makes a better quality boot without it. Good solod construction i would order these again. I'll write more after wearing them for an even more extended period of time.

Comfortable and Sharp, but light on Longevity.
I'm 6.5 feet tall, 220 lbs and I bought these boots one year nine months ago. They're essentially dead. The soles have tears and delaminations, the leather is super comfy, though ready to open at many of the deep cracks at the flex area behind the toe cap, and the upper is working itself free of the midsole. If the uppers weren't ready to tank, I'd try to get them resoled to get some more life and offset the cost a bit. Unfortunately, not an option. Truthfully, I'm disappointed. Not in the comfort at all because they are very comfortable. The quality of the stitch and thread is good, too. The style is great, though not anywhere near the top of my priority list. If comfort and looks are your top priorities and you don't shudder at the price tag, then I can't recommend a boot more than these. The mileage per dollar spent is what has me less than thrilled. I grant that it could be just me. If the guy up there who gets ten years out of his boots indoors and out in four seasons seven days a week isn't telling a whopper, then it's probably me. I've heard tons of stories like his about a number of boot brands, but I've never gotten more than 2.5 years out of a pair no matter the care I take. (Those were cheap TUKs made in China, oddly enough) I wear them 5 days a week, mostly indoors, industrial setting, and they get cleaned & oiled very regularly. That's it. Nothing out of the ordinary. I don't get it. So, in summary, these boots are super comfy, sharp, expensive, and, for me, did not last near as long as I was hoping for. Since longevity was my primary expectation and my justification for spending the money, I am giving them 3 stars.

Wrong shape and size, compared to the original boots bought in UK.
I own two pairs of the Gripfadt boots - 20-hole and 10-hole. Both bought in UK, both have the same shape and size. These boots, on the other hands, have a different shape, and are at least 50 to 100 percent larger, and they also have a different sole and overall different shape. In other words, these boots are not what Gripfast used to make. Which makes me very suspicious: either Gripfast have lost its edge, or these boots are not the real Gripfast boots. First, even though the boots fit larger than the actual boots from UK (all size 9, yet the boots bought from Amazon fit like a full size bigger), the sole is actually smaller than the smaller-fitting boots a bough in UK. Second, the toes are of a sharper shape than the originals. I don’t know if I can recommend these boots, as I have doubts they’re the real deal, given the differences. The photos attached to my review show left boot that was bought from Amazon, and the right boot that was bought in UK. You can see how different the shape is. How different the sole is, how it sticks out on the heel and goot sides on the original boots bought from UK, and the boots bough from Amazon don’t have that. It’s as if these two boots are completely different models, from completely different manufacturers.
