The product itself is great. The decanter is exactly what I was looking for, and the glasses are a good size. The stopper also is a very good fit. It has a good weight and looks nice on the shelf where I have it. The decanter fits a bit more than a standard bottle. The only complaint I have is that when it arrived, one of the glasses was broken in the box. The box fits the 4 glasses along the bottom of it, with a cardboard piece that wraps around the decanter where it sits on top of the glasses. The glasses sit in compartments that are separated by cardboard and three of them sit snugly, while the fourth sits in a wider set compartment. I don't know why they did that, but it looks like the glass probably slid around during shipment and was smashed. As far as the product goes though, it's great. The packaging/set up of the box is where I have a complaint.

I did buy this due to how it does shows up in the photo. It does surely looks great and it shows it is a quality Decanter. The glasses are okay. The Decanter is so very, very, very,CHEAP LOOKING and even the FEEL of it. I returned it immediately. Don't be decisive by the looks of the photo, which happened to me.

Received the Item and it looked great, although the glasses were broken. I have heard bad reviews about the shipping and cannot agree more. I didnt want to go through the whole process of exchanging it, (which you have to return the whole entire thing) and chance that they were going to ship the next order flawlessly. But overall it seemed like a great piece of glass wear and loved it while I had it.

I recently purchased this product as a gift and the quality is consistent with the price. I rated five stars mainly for the customer service of the seller, Big City Bargains. Like a few other reviews I read, my package arrived with one of the glasses broken. I immediately emailed the seller and was pleasantly surprised to receive a reply within 10 minutes, apologizing for the broken glass and promising to send a replacement right away. Happy to say I recieved the replacement glass two days later. "Stuff" happens, but this seller made good on its promise and clearly stands behind its products. Well done!

I got the package, it was acceptable, but not impressive. The set came in a generic wholesale box, well packed with cardboard separators and packing peanuts, but I could definitely see how it could get broken in transit, I mean, come on - it's glass. Upon opening the package, some buyer's remorse set-in. I knew it wouldn't be great, but all pieces definitely lacked quality, especially the decanter. The decanter had a cheap semi-translucent, plastic stopper and rough seam edges that weren't properly sanded off after it was molded. Most disappointing was the bottom, which resembled the underside of a mason jar with a curved-in bottom and bumpy ridges on the outside edge. The glasses were no more impressive than something you'd pick up in a big box store in the "Kitchen Supplies" area. There's nothing more to say about them. The biggest take away - this set is molded glass, not cut. After all my whining, I can't really be mad because it didn't cost much and as long as the pieces come intact, they will help facilitate whiskey drinking. Don't expect anything fancy - it's only $40.

I took a chance with this set. As most have posted, the set looks great once the cloudiness is washed away. My issue with the set is that there was a small crack on the decanter....thus it cannot hold liquid. Not sure if it was from shipping or a manufacturing defect. If it wasn't for that issue, this set would get a 4.5 if not a 5 (not a super fan of plastic but that's me being picky with a value set). Since the glasses look nice I won't be sending it back....just wish I had a working and matching decanter.

Skip this one, its nowhere near the quality of a actual crystal decanter. there's a rubber seal on the top which alone makes it feel cheap, not to mention the thin glass that's its made from. the same for the glasses, thin cheap glass, and one of them was broken when i opened the box. sending it back and buying this; http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001O4U9CK/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00 hopefully this one turns out to be better.

I was going to purchase an $100+ crystal set to show off my scotch of choice. I saw this, the reviews looked good, and with some hesitation figured I'd try it. Honestly, I thought it would last a few months, maybe a year, and then I would need to replace it. This set looks beautiful, has received compliments from guests, and they think this is an artisan crystal set. This is definitely a good purchase. The seal has kept an 18 year bottle tasting great for months. I like scotch to much too allow it to sit that long, but if you are the occasional drinker, I'd have confidence you could store a bottle for a year with this set.
