Champion Women's Full-zip Eco Fleece Jacket Hoodie

When I found this jacket on Amazon and in a dark pink, I had to have not one but TWO as a pink jacket is so hard to find these days! Because I like my casual jackets to be very roomy (even though I am a petite and small person), I ordered an XL. And glad I ordered the XL because this really does run small -- at least one to one and a half sizes small in my opinion and I can place 2 shirts under this jacket for layering.So I recommend this superb jacket to you for the following reasons:1) Quality - The overall quality is MUCH better I have found than my Danskin hooded jacket (this same style) that I purchased from Walmart. This jacket is THICKER and it has better overall workmanship (zipper opens and closes better, length of arms are a little bit longer on this jacket, and this jacket is longer in length).2) Warmth - This jacket has fleece inside like a regular sweatshirt does and the body of the jacket does have a little bit thicker fleece than the sleeves (I compared the two). The reason for this is for layering purposes, when sleeves are too thick, it is very hard to add long sleeved layers underneath such as turtlenecks or long sleeved T Shirts.3) Softness - The jacket was not that soft when I opened it and tried it on. However, after washing and drying it (I use fabric softener in washer and dryer, it came out very soft yet it is not limp at all.4) Washing/Drying/Shrinkage - NO Shrinkage even after washing and drying (but I wash in cold water with Woolite Gentle Detergent (for washers) and then I add Gain Fabric Softener Liquid to the rinse). It washed and dried just fine, color stayed vivid with no shrinkage and took about 40 minutes to dry in a fully loaded dryer.Very, very highly recommend this jacket to all!

I bought this sweatshirt for my mom. For the price I really couldn't complain. About the same around where we live so I ordered a few while I was already putting an order together for some other things. Anyways, just a few heads up to my fellow Amazon shoppers. First is, I am still fairly new to Amazon. So when I ordered this sweatshirt from Under Moments I got worried and here is why. When I ordered it they said it normally ships in 4-8 days. Fine. The day after I placed it, my order status went to shipped and I got a DHL tracking number by email. Now mind you, all this time I thought that DHL has been out of business. I did not know that they still had a mail part open. Anyways, For about 4 days I tried this tracking number and DHL kept saying it didn't exist. I was starting to think I was getting screwed. So I contacted the seller and asked why has my status gone to shipped if my order really hasn't shipped?? I got an answer to something like when they got my order they immediately send it to their manufacturer. It just didn't make any sense. I was still worried. But, to make my long story shorter, overall, It actually did ship about 2 days later, almost 9 days after my original order date. Reason I wrote all this is so if you do order from Under Moments, DO NOT freak out. You WILL get your order. Just will have to wait forever for it like I had to. Oh and the other thing. According to my mom, these Champion sweatshirts run snug to size. Meaning I ordered her a women's XL and she tried it on and found it to be snug. She said XL usually have a bit more of a give to them before the first wear. I hope it stretches out a bit for her. Seeing I bout 3 of them for her.

i always order a large in jackets and sweatshirts so they can be worn comfortably over other clothes. this one fits like a small to medium so i was not pleased about that. i'm hoping it doesn't shrink when i wash it as it will be totally unfit then. the product is nice and i love the color but if i were to ever order it again i would go up to x-large or even xx-large.

I love this jacket. It's very soft and the color is true. I got the pink. As an XL, it's a little snug but it is still comfortable. I wear it at work because I work in a refrigerated environment and it keeps me warm. When you tie the hood on, it stays and doesn't slip backwards. It still has a loose enough fit to allow for a full range of motion as I do a lot of bending down and crawling into small spaces. I plan on customizing it with a few iron-ons so that will be fun. I would definitely buy this in more colors.

I love this Champion hoodie -- it is one of my favorite clothing purchases in years. What distinguishes this Champion hoodie from others is its quality compared to other hoodies in comparable price range. Although you can't clearly see in the photo, the Champion hoodie has top-stitching on all the seams, the hood is lined with a soft t-shirt type of material, and the drawstring is wide, which is a bit more stylish-looking. I liked this hoodie so much, I tried another one, this time a women's Gildan brand hooded sweatshirt -- which at the time had similar price and rating; now it has cheaper price and but higher rating. While the GIldan does the job that any basic hoodie would do; it had no top stitching, unlined and therefore thinner hood, slightly thinner drawstring, and the fit was more unisex sizing, so the Gildan was much larger and thus kind of loose and sloppy looking than the same sized Champion sweatshirt. The construction of the Champion hoodie is more solid than the Gildan, and so it would make sense that it costs a bit more, but worth it. The Champion Women's Full-zip Eco Fleece Jacket is true to size for women's clothing (i.e., a snug-fit but comfortable 14/16 = XL). In contrast, the Gildan XL is sized much roomier and can fit at least a couple of sizes bigger.

Color is true to photo, a medium lilac. Still true to color after 2 washings. Fits well through shoulders, middle and hips. Large is perfect size if you're more a medium built and want to comfortably wear sweater and/or long underwear underneath. Warm and cozy, fabric is soft and looks great. Well worth the price.
