Stride Rite Star Wars Captain Rex Light-Up Sneaker (Toddler/Little Kid)

I bought these for my 5 year old son. He loves them and how they light up. They're sturdy and durable. Plus, it's cool cause it's star wars themed :)

These shoes were well loved until he grew out of them, but whats more they lasted well and were comfortable for all day playing so they were great value for money too given the amount of wear they had.

My granson loves the Star Wars Captain Rex Lighted sneakes by Sride Rite.They were just what he wanted. I always buy light-up sneakers for him. We love the fact that the sneakers light up the room. He always complains about not having enough room to flex his toes in his sneakers but with these sneakers he has not complained at all. He gets alot of compliments at school from teachers and other children.I would not hesitate to buy sneakers from this company in the future. Also I love ordering from Amazon as they give free shipping on some items and the delivery is very fast.Thank you.

My son is in love with Star Wars he is 5 years old. I ahve checked around for these sneakers and thgey are very expensive. What a bargain on Amazon. He has a wide foot and I have a hard time finding sneakers that he is interested in. These come in wide widths and are great for the money. He loves them the look on his face when he got them was priceless and the lights are extremely bright a plus when you are out in a dark place.

Only the left shoe lit up. Because there were none left in my son's size and he had his heart set on them, we kept them. SUCH a mistake! They fell apart after a few months of wear and I wound up buying a cheapie pair at Payless Shoes, which lasted twice as long and guess what, BOTH shoes lit up! Amazing.Stride Rite used to be a premium brand, I wonder what happened.

My son loves the shoe and will be on his third pair but not because he out grew them......they fall apart! The life expectancy is about 3 months very unusual for a Stride Rite Shoe.

My son loves these!!! And who wouldn't love the look of them? He wore them to school two days and the treading started to come apart. I didn't want to take them back since he liked them so much, so I just used a little fabric glue to tack down the loose threads and all was well. I did it again to new loose threads after 2 weeks of wear. Except for the maintenance to repair them and the visible wires that attach under the velcro part, they are great. I do wonder how long the lights will last though once it starts to rain or snow since they are somewhat exposed. For being a Stride Rite brand, I would have expected MUCH higher quality shoes...although the boys will love them!

My son loves Star Wars but I was hesitant to buy a pricier pair of shoes since I pride myself as a bargain shopper. However, I know I'm getting the best bang for my buck because Stride Rite has made a nice pair of quality shoes that will not wear out. He loves the shoes and I am happy that the size fit him perfectly. He used to wear a 1.5 so I guessed at buying a 2. They are a great fit and I would say they are on the wider side even though they say medium. My only complaint is that the left shoe doesn't light up like it should. My son didn't want to send them back because he loves them so much.
