MerrellMen's Intercept Walking Shoe, Moth Brown, 10

Are these shoes suitable for climbing mountains in the uk such as ben nevis, snowdon?

Are they waterproof to withstand rain? Town walks, 3-4 miles per day.

My other merrell intercept which i bought 5 years ago were gore-tex. are these gore-tex also?

are the soles perfectly flat or is there a slight heel raise? I can't quite tell from the photos.
