Great local history book
I was really surprised by the information about the history of Upper Arlington, Ohio. I work in the area and now I understand how/why the streets run the way they do and who many of the streets are named after

What Comes After Migration?
This is the history of my own family. We thought some of it was known, and Ms Runyon was written a warm, insightful, and informative story for even those that thought they knew the history of this very influential Black family. It is the story of a family's migration from slavery, and its journey toward the hope of greater freedom.

A Scholarly Call for Reparation and Recognition
This book is a wonderful expose of the wrongs committed against citizens of color in an average community in America during the 19th century. It invites consideration of the systemic nature of racial discrimination and its cumulative sociological and financial effect on marginalized populations.
