Great camera, nice picture, good ilumination, impressed for the price!
Got this camera because I had a few important requirements for adding my first camera to my house. 1) Inexpensive, 2) Wired, 3) Compatible with standard software. 4) Good picture, 5) Good night vision. I got this yesterday, haven't mounted it on my house yet because I thought I'd try it out first. The documentation that comes with the camera is limited, it's for connecting the camera to their own recording device. It hit all of those points very well, the picture is great, it's got impressive IR illumination, it should work perfectly out in front of my house.(Beware geekery beyond this point, but it might save some of you some headache!)I was able to locate the camera without their software just by looking for ARP requests on wireshark for the 192.168.1.xxx IP range. This isn't typically what a normal user would do, download their software and it's much easier! I was on a Linux machine and didn't want to go get my Windows laptop. On the login screen, switch the language to English. Now the camera is easy to configure. The only minor bit of trouble I had was finding the RTSP URL that this camera user. I'm sure there are easier ways, but I read their web-interface's javascript code to find out that the URL was : rtsp://user:password@ipaddress:554/stream1 (also stream2). I opened VLC went to Media / Open Network Stream, added the URL and viola a crisp clean picture.Update after 2 years, it's now about -10F outside in the midwest, the camera has been operating 24/7 non-stop since I installed it, without any problems at all, and is still going strong during this super-cold weather. Great purchase!

They are nice to have included kit for the same
So this is a basic camera and works with TP-LINK POE injector and Synology Surveillance station as ONVIF camerathe basic function for the price is acceptable and lens quality is standardThe web interface is important to work with and can choose EnglishThe part that was not clear to me and I had to figure out was how to disable default Admin Admin username passwordHere are the steps to it- you should do it because many people think China made products and cameras could be a security risk on itself when connected to the internetOK so to be clear following steps are neededFind which IP address your camera is on the local addressType that address on the browser bar of your choiceLog in with default admin admin combo after selecting English as language on right upper hand cornerConfiguration-->System Setting-->UserManageUnder Dev AuthenticationClick to Basic instead of DisableFollowed by the creation of new admin login and passwordfollowed by Deleting default admin admin username password comboI have had failed two cameras because I did not know how to weather protect ethernet connection. They are nice to have included kit for the same. You have to insert this into the ethernet cable with the small foam disk and cap it tight so water does not get in and ruin your camera. This simple step omission has cost me two hundred dollars so far

These Cameras Call Home - Beware!
Before I go into the good things about these cameras I feel it is important to know that these cameras appear to be calling "home" despite not using any sort of cloud service. I purchased 4 of these cameras. I overlooked that the camera's firmware is in Chinese and have to translate the text into English in order to configure them. What I did not know was that these cameras make connections to various IP addresses which all seem to go back to "alibaba.com." Not sure what sort of data is being sent back and forth but considering it is a device on my home network and all the device in it there is a MAJOR concern for security. Amazon and their 3rd party vendors should do more to protect their customers, most people wouldn't have a clue that anything is amiss. My advice would be to stay away from these inexpensive IP cameras or have a good background in computers and networking. Plain and simple, there's no reason for these cameras to be connecting to anything outside unless I have given permission, or subscribed to something. Unfortunately I didn't find out about this soon enough to return or do much of anything about it, there's a lot of work in running cable and installing these cameras on the exterior of the building.*- In the attached image my Jennov IP cameras are addressed 192.168.1.20 - 24, as you can see they talk outside the LAN network.MAJOR SECURITY issues aside, Chinese firmware aside, these cameras do have a good picture and fairly decent night vision. They're a good value aside from the above problems.
