It does what it's supposed to.
It is very cheaply made, but does what it is supposed to. Mine came with a leaked battery. I only needed it for a couple wiring projects around the house, so I did not bother sending it back. (just replaced the battery)

I'm not sure if it's faulty or it's just a very bad product.
The toner hums very loudly at max volume and I can barely hear the signal from the transmitter even when I use them near each other. I'm not sure if it's faulty or it's just a very bad product.
