My girlfriend who is Moroccan loves it, she is looking at what English words are in Moroccan Arabic. Review: Spoken Like A Local... - I used this guide to help me prepare for my trip to Marrakech and it was super handy. I only learned about 5 words really well, but I knew them so well, when I met people, they thought I was a native or I was an american that had previously lived in Morocco for an extended period of time. Definitely a wise purchase.

Tiny type...you might need readers or a magnifier
Super glad I had it along. Earlier reviews regarding font size were helpful: so much is crammed in that the type is tiny! Provided a LOT more info than the casual tourist (as opposed to a traveler who is living in Morocco, even temporarily) would need. I'd vote for less grammar if it could be replaced by a small Moroccan-to-English dictionary in the back.

Fantastic starter book!
Great book and perfect size to take with you everywhere! They do a fantastic job of describing the pronunciations, which was a huge help as I really struggled with that. Highly recommended!

Good to have in my collection.
If you don’t practice the vowels in the beginning of the book, you’re going to snooze at reading this book :D. Good for those who have been previously practicing Arabic.. wish the English written pronunciation was more,,, “English,” if that makes sense .. Overall decent book.

Wish the words gave phonetic pronunciation in English.. ...
Wish the words gave phonetic pronunciation in English... the book gives phonetic pronunciation in Arabic, so you constantly have to refer back to the first pages of the book in which the author explains what sounds each vowel and some consonants make.

Pocket Sized
I bought this so I can learn Darija to be able to speak my boyfriends language. He's from El Jadida and this is the correct dialect.

Very useful. So glad there is Arabic script beside transliteration
Very useful small book. Easy to learn commonly used sentences for everyday conversations. I haven't found any other book online that has moroccan dictionary and phrases for a very reasonable price of £4.99 can't go wrong.

Indispensable
Creo que es un must si viajas por Marruecos y no quieres o no tienes la oportunidad de aprender el idioma. Las frases que incluye son básicas pero suficientes para la mayoría de las situaciones que puede enfrentar un viajero en el día a día. Su tamaño compacto la hace ideal para llevarla en el bolsillo del pantalón o en la bolsa exterior de una backpack.
