Does a good job cleaning espresso machine as is cheaper than premixed cleaners. Dissolves easily and you don't have to worry about left over chemicals when done.

Good product. Food safe. Perfect to clean the timescale and mineral build up on my water distiller and kettle. 3 tablespoons and then allows to boils does a fantastic job of cleaning and maintaining my appliances. Ziplock seal for freshness and a good size for price. Have not used in direct food prep and recipes so cannot speak on taste.

I bought this for cleaning my shower with a thick lime and calcium coating. I have tried everything and nothing worked. But this trick did an amazing job! Also nice and sour taste.

This is the first time ever that I've purchased citric acid and I am so glad I found Spicy World - this acid is the only thing that has removed mineral deposits on the inside of my electric kettle, my insulated thermos (which I use for my fresh-brewed strong hot coffee every morning), and various pots and pans with shiny interiors. In the past I tried without success the usual: baking soda, dental tabs, vinegar, etc. Spicy World Ctric Acid works so well that I'm buying another bag because I have used so much of it to remove old stains. BTW: I watched a few YouTube videos about using citric acid before using it and found that I needed a larger amount than the video makers do. I suggest experimenting if your first attempt(s) don't clean off all the residue on your devices - IMO, the old build up of residue should vanish quickly, not take hours of soaking and reheating or replacing and reheating the soaking water.

This 2 LB bag of Citric Acid is fantastic! I use it once a year to clean mineral scale from my furnace humidifier. I just dissolve about 1/3 cup in a bucket of warm water, add the scaled parts, and let it sit for an hour or so—works perfectly every time. It’s 100% pure, food grade, and non-GMO, so I feel confident using it safely. The powder dissolves easily, and the bag keeps it fresh for repeated use. Very versatile and a great value—highly recommend!

By far superior for cleaning your coffee machine over vinegar. I’ve thrown out coffee makers over the years that vinegar was unable to clean. If had known about citric acid I’d have been using it for years. Very good stuff! Does a great job and doesn’t stink up the house
