It's cheap. It may work well... Or maybe not.
The tester seemed to work fine, but the remote wiremap did not.Let's say I reran quite a bit of cable and redid several ends before realizing it was the remote. The display is crooked inside the box, no big deal, but it's just a reflection of quality.

Solid device, would buy again.
Pros:It's cheapIt seems to work wellCons:It has an annoying beep (with each button press) that cannot be silenced (I disabled mine by physically disabling the beeper)It forgets your configuration settings (i.e. meters/feet) with each power cycleUltimately this is still a strong recommend. If you have a bad crimp, it'll tell you which end is bad. Standard testers will tell you that you're missing a line/pair, but it won't tell you which crimp is bad - and Murphy will have you cutting the good end of first every time.

Great for Prosumer
Excellent alternative to expensive TDR meters. Ample for creation or maintenance of home networks. No memory for settings as described prior but for the money and what it does works great.Meters 20 years ago that I used commercially that did this exact thing were several thousand dollars.Just saying.

Broke in less than a month
When it worked it did the job but... it's made very cheaply.Buttons stick due to poor engineering. No support for the product.Doesn't look like I'm getting my money back.Waste of $36.00

Broke after a few uses
Used this to test Cat 6 cable I am running through my house. Worked for a few days then smelled smoke, never worked again. Ended up buying the Klein Tools LAN Scout Jr. 2. So far, so good.
