What can I say, Neutrogena knows what they are doing. They make a great product that does not irritate our skin, but provides good sun exposure coverage. Did you know that you are supposed to use almost a full shot glass full (Measurement for applying to the whole body) of sunscreen when you apply it to your body? Also, you need to reapply it after swimming and after sweating every 1.5 hours or so. Yes, it can be pricey and you can go through it quickly, but the cost of some SPF 70 sunscreen is much more affordable than getting skin cancer and having parts cut out of your skin, or worse. This has a nice scent, goes on easily and does not remain tacky.

I’ve been loving this Neutrogena Beach Defense sunscreen. It goes on so smoothly and feels more like a light body lotion than a typical sunscreen, which I really appreciate. It’s super easy to apply and doesn’t leave that sticky or greasy feeling that a lot of other sunscreens do. My skin actually feels hydrated after I use it, which is a nice bonus especially when I’m out in the sun all day. The scent is fresh and beachy, not overpowering or too “sunscreen-y,” and it fades nicely after a while. It also absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a white cast, which makes it great for reapplying throughout the day. I love the smell of sunscreen. Banana boat, Coppertone, it doesn't matter. So I'm not bothered by "sunscreen smell." But this isn't sunscreen smell. It's more chemically than that. It's not even necessarily "bad" per se, it doesn't stink, but it's not something I would personally choose to smell like in other circumstances. Almost a little plasticky. Besides that, it's extremely wearable. Blends in to my skin no problem, leaves a moisturized but not greasy feel on the skin. Works really well. I'm bald, living in Colorado. The sun beats down pretty much everyday and burns are a concern. This sunscreen takes the concern away.

I love using this as moisturizer for face because it evens out skin tone and its a brightener!

I bought this in a spray and lotion. I love this version for my face. Neutrogena never disappoints. It’s not greasy or oily and keeps my skin from burning. It’s definitely my go to sunscreen

My family and I have been using this product for years. Each application lasts 3-4hrs or so (depending on how thick you apply). It doesn’t stain the clothes and gets absorbed into skin fast. And Amazon has the best pricing so when it was on sale, I immediately grabbed it

I have very sun-sensitive skin and burn so easily. A week or so before I went on holiday, I was wearing a dubious factor 50 in the sun all day and found I had to reapply so much because I felt I was going to burn - even then, when I got home my skin was sore, pink and hot. Fortunately I didn't get proper sunburn, just a bit of pinkness that went within a day, but it made me think I needed to get a proper sunscreen for my holiday in a hot, sunny, continental climate. I got this and couldn't be happier... I applied and reapplied religiously as you should, but even under very hot, fierce sun I got zero pinkness or post-sun pink or hot skin, and not even the slightest threat of sunburn! For someone as sensitive to the sun as me, this was amazing. I didn't tan but I don't normally (I burn) and I didn't expect to when I'm fastidiously applying factor 70 sunscreen, but as I wasn't fearfully hiding from the sun for fear of pain and sunburn, I did get a bit of a healthy glow/mini-tan. I don't think it's sun-exposure in an unhealthy sense, just my skin being happy and healthy after getting some sunlight without having to obsessively cover up and hide from the sun. It is a bit thick and can get on clothes etc. but give it a good rub in and apply a little bit before you leave for the day / move around during the day, and it's fine. Bottle is big and was a bit of a pain carrying in my small day bag for reapplication, but you could always decant into a smaller bottle. Both of those things are worth considering, but pretty standard for sunscreen. All in all, a fantastic sunscreen, it will be my go-to! I need this forever. Recommended for anyone who is sensitive to the sun and burns easily - whether you want to be able to go out in the sun without feeling you need to cover up so much, or whether you still opt to for extra protection. Please remember to reapply though - as with most sunscreens, this isn't one and done for the day, you'll need to reapply every so often, but as long as you do so you'll have very solid sun protection and happy skin.
