Danze D481350BN Push Pull Showerarm Diverter, Brushed Nickel

This diverter valve is a replacement for a worn out Water Pic combination handheld/mounted shower head valve. Diverter mechanism is solid, all water either goes to the hand held or the mounted shower head, no leak through. Finish was even, no blank spots. Installation was a snap, took about 5 minutes to remove the old valve and replace it with this one. Very satisfied with the whole buying experience..Ordering, shipping, product quality, and installation. I do wish advertisers would stop flooding my computer with ads for stuff I have already ordered and don't need any more of! I must have seen a hundred ads for diverter valves since I ordered this one.

I have hard water so I go through these things about every 5-8 years. This one is Really the best I have owned. Easy pull knob to convert to my hand held.. Very good quality workmanship. Should have bought 2 for the future. ** Just read others reviews . Mine is solid metal. Very fine finish of brushed nickel. The mechanism is effortless and works excellently. My husband who is a jack of all trades, a master electrician,and all around mechanical guy, who rebuilds cars, said it is an EXCELLENT valve.

Easy to install, diverts the water, and doesn't leak.Includes 3 little impossible to unwrap teflon tape wads for the threads. Used my own.

At least the main body is metal, the push / pull cap may be plastic and some of the internal parts are plastic. The swivel end which is the input is supposed to seal against the end of the shower pipe, which may not be totally flat and smooth. I had to make a gasket to make it stop leaking. I'm afraid to tighten it enough to keep it from leaking without the extra gasket. No matter what I do, it still doesn't stay in the position I want it. It does divert all of the water to whichever outlet is selected and doesn't seem to restrict the flow much if any. The finish is nice and smooth and other than the swivel end it seems to be a quality item.

arrived on time and was easy to install. Works very well with a little plumbers tape.

Had to return it. The screw on part that connects to the wall side of the shower was either extremely weak or already broken when it arrived. I screwed it on with some teflon tape on the threads but it leaked a lot. No matter what I tried it would not work properly. The finish is nice looking at least and the valve seems to work well enough.

The color was fine, the switch function was fine. The problem is that the part that screws to the pipe out of the wall is not secure and leaks none stop. It's not on the washer side either so you can't just stuff one in there and fix it.

This product arrived on time and was very well packaged. The plumber who installed this said it is a good quality product. The diverter is a very nice brushed nickel color. The knob can be hard to pull out, so be cautious not to mount it too high. Also, if you have arthritis or other hand joint issues, you may difficulty pulling the knob out to switch devices.
